A Christian look at the 12 Days of Christmas

Visiting one of my patients this week, she shared with me the meaning behind the Christmas carol, The 12 Days of Christmas. I don't know if this is what the author of "The 12 Days of Christmas" meant for the song, but I liked this. I hope you do too. The website
http://www.carols.org.uk/the_twelve_days_of_christmas.htm is one site I found a basis for this list. Some of my research revealed that this was a way to secretly preserve the tenets of the Catholic faith. Whether this is true or not I liked it and hope you do to.
