Book Review: The Noticer by Andy Andrews

"Sometimes all a person needs is a little perspective" is a great subtitle for this amazing easy to read book. Andy Andrews has a great gift of perspective as he tells the story of the people of Orange Beach, AL in all different stages of life. A man named Jones has come to town that has this gift of perception. Jones deals with 5 different types of people; the wayward, the lost lovers, the worrier, the lustful youth, the workaholic, and the useless. Jones gives these people a new perspective on their lives. As the stories unfold you find yourself related to each of these people in some way. At some point in life you can remember a time that you were like one of these people. Even as a fictional story you find practical advice on how to get a new perspective on your own life and how to notice those around you in a different light.
Andy Andrews took this book to a new level by also starting the Noticer Project, a web site where you can put your story of the 5 people that have been the most influential in your life. This project will also help to get you started in putting Andy Andrew's book into practice.
I highly recommend this book. It'll change the way you look at yourself and others forever.
